SMS (Short Messages Service)
SMS is a text message service that enables messages to be sent to cell
phones. SMS's are stored and forwarded so the message will be sent later
if the phone is not immediately available.
RedRabbit service supports the following SMS features:
- 7 bits SMS
RedRabbit allows you to send 160 characters - plain text
- Unicode (Foreign characters)
RedRabbit allows you to Unicode characters like Arabic, Chinese, etc.
- Numeric / Alphanumeric Originator ID
RedRabbit allows you to set the Originator ID up to 11 alphanumeric
characters.
RedRabbit allows you to set the originator of the message to that of
your choice. It is possible to set originator of message individually.
- Flash SMS
RedRabbit allows you send FlashSMS: FlashSMS is an SMS that appears
right on the face of the handset (with most handsets), and is not stored
in the handset's "Inbox" with other SMS messages.
EMS (Enhance Message Service)
EMS messages are sent using the binary format, and rely on the manipulation
of the message headers to carry non-text information
RedRabbit allows you to send your EMS messages through its gateway originated
your own applications.
RedRabbit service supports the following EMS types:
- Ringtones
- Picture Messages
- Logos
- Group Graphics
MMS (Multimedia Message Service)
RedRabbit allows you to send freeform text, color images, audio clips,
and eventually short video clips.
Two-way SMS Service
RedRabbit offers two-way SMS that allow you to deploy your two-way SMS
applications using its 2-way SMS gateway. Incoming messages will be routed
to you via an HTTP and/or SMPP connection.
RedRabbit offers 2-way SMS applications like voting, surveys and any other
customized application according to your needs.
Messages to profiled users
RedRabbit offers you the ability to send messages to specific categories
of contacts profiled according to specific parameters such career-type,
sex, age and so on.
